Formed during April 2009, afer several months of discussion, EMC Laboratory Services ( EMCLS ) is a joint venture between L F Research ( owned by Derek Walton ) and EMI Guys ( owned by Wally Pilat ).

This new venture addresses the needs of any EMC Test facility by offering services beyound the scope of new or existing EMC Facilities. The decision to form this company was made after listening to the concerns of existing facilities. As a result, EMC Laboratory services offers, effective imediately:

• EMC test equipment Calibration: EMCLS specilises in EMC test equipment.  In addition to many years of calibrating EMC equipment, EMCLS can assist a laboratory how to get the most use of calibration data. All current calibrations are NIST tracable, acredidation is being pursued with a US acrediting body.
• Test facility development: EMCLS has designed from the ground up, retrofitted and disbanded EMC test facilities. Regardless of if you would like to aquire, grow or dispose of an EMC facility, EMCLS can help.
• Quality System Management: EMCLS has the experience of running an accreditied test and calibration facility. Additionally, EMCLS staff have been contracted by both A2LA and NVLAP to perform assessments of laboratories. Regardless of your quality system now, EMCLS can develop, help document, train personell and audit any EMC test facility.
