In response to increasing demand for product safety testing, L F Research has purchased the Associated Research Model 2670 Hypot III tester.

 

This instrument enables both AC and DC dielectric withstand testing to 5 kV: AC testing can be both 50 Hz and 60 Hz.

 

In addition to Hypot, the instrument also performs Insulation resistance testing.

 

A feature of the instrument is expansion via a second test set to perform Ground bond testing. We are currently evaluating suitable models that can source test currents up to 60 amps.
